Hello,
Trying to do Time Machine or copying anything through AFP shares is next to impossible with Freenas. There are so many disconnects weather the connection is through WIFI or LAN. CIFS shares work wonderfully with Macs. AFP don't at all. I pasted some of my errors I get on AFP shares and my Macs trying to connect to my Freenas.
All my folders that share through AFP are ONLY shared under AFP. They aren't shared as CIFS so there should be any conflict. CIFS folders are only shared as CIFS and AFP folders are only shared as AFP shares and so on.
I get this error on my Mac when trying to backup to my Freenas:
The backup disk image “/Volumes/TimeMachine/Luis' MacBook Pro.sparsebundle” could not be created (error (null)).
This comes up on my Freenas:

Let me know what other information you guys need. By the way I am trying to do this though LAN connection because its even worse through WIFI. CIFS shares don't have any problems weather WIFI or LAN transfers.
Thank you.
