AFP and CIFS question

can you set up a volume with both CIFS and AFP running at the same time, and is it possible to set up one user to connect to it from both a windows 7 machine(via CIFS) and an Apple machine(via AFP)

It is not clever to share same data using two different protocols... you might end up corrupting data...
