Hi All,
Yep! Another newbie to the forum but WOW—what a great product!
I'm running the latest FreeNAS on my HP microserver (see sig for details). I'm no power user but I'm keen to tinker and not affraid of console even though I barely understand it!
I have since added a Cyberpower UPS to my setup and all seems to be running ok. My issue is that I am seeing this repeat message in my console:
Mar 24 13:32:37 Moogz-Server root: Unknown USB device: vendor 0x0764 product 0x0501 bus uhub2
Mar 24 13:32:37 Moogz-Server kernel: ugen2.2: <CPS> at usbus2
Mar 24 13:32:37 Moogz-Server kernel: ugen2.2: <CPS> at usbus2 (disconnected)
It's basically on loop and filling my log every couple of seconds. How can I stop this message being flagged—OR have I done something wrong?
When I first set up the UPS, I watched the log file when I plugged in the usb lead so I know I've got the port setting right for the UPS in FreeNAS GUI. I've know I've definitely selected the correct model of UPS too.
