Steps that worked flawlessly in 8.2.0-BETA3, posts on here had me scared to death, this worked for me.
1. <Offline> the drive, in my case it was [da6p2]
2. Remove failing drive and replace with new.
3. From the WebGUI click <Replace> on [da6p2] with choose new [da6] in drop down.
4. Click <Detach> on [da6old]
Resilver started automatically.
Recommendation, when building your server, place the drives in order in the case to make finding the failing drive easier. Install drive and boot to bios or your HBA configuration and move the cables around so that they are either top to bottom or left to right, xx0 thru xx7. Takes a little time, but well worth it, I even labeled them.
