Hello,
I have just taken delivery of an HP proliant Microserver and I am considering what software to run on it - With Freenas being top of the list of options (I think!).
My questions are -
Can I use FreeNAS 8.02 to stream files to my PS3?
Can I automatically back up PCs on my home network?
I have ordered an extra 4gb of RAM (currently got 2gb) should/can I install using the ZFS filesytem and put the extra ram in when it arrives?
Should I go for FreeNAS 7 instead?
The final (probably most contentious question!) - Might I be better off with WHS 2011?
