Well at least for me, so I've rolled back both my main and backup machine to 9.3 (and flashed the firmware back to P16)
  • Far too much uncertainty around which P20 firmware works or might not, forgetting the fact that this wasn't even mentioned in the release notes
  • Replication is completely broken for me in 9.3.1, but is now doing a full replication again (having recreated my backup volume trying to get it to work) in 9.3. Again, not really any mention of backend changes to replication in the release notes
Have read other threads with different issues, a fairly minor one being the version number which is still 9.3. After quite a long period since the last update, and a pretty problem free run with the 9.3's this feels like a bit of a disaster and somewhat bigger than a 0.0.1 update?

Disaster?
a disaster would be if it ate all your data, or caught on fire or killed that one guy that knows how to make good coffee at the office.

this i would rate as a solid "meh"
it seems to work fine for most people or we would have way more posts about issues.

9.3-RELEASE was far more of a disaster for anyone using iSCSI who saw their LUNs get resignatured with the shift to CTL, this is a minor speedbump. The mps driver version got sorted fairly quickly; replication I can't speak for though.
