9.2.1.6 Upgrade Samba Issue

Hello...

I've just upgraded from 9.2.1.5 to 9.2.1.6 and I'm getting a bunch of strange messages in my console. Any idea what these are about..


Status=daemon 'smbd' finished starting up and ready to serve connectionsWARNING: The "null passwords" option is deprecated.

Samba name server FREENAS is now a local master browser for workgroup WORKGROUP on subnet 192.x.x.x.

Hi

The first message is just a warning that samba (as it has been updated) now sees the "null passwords" option as deprecated (so if you setup a share without a password fpr access).

The second message is an information regarding the browsing service (that enables your Windows PC so see all network clients under "network").

I think both messages can be safely ignored.
