Hi,

yesterday I updated to the current release 9.2.1.9. I got a repeating message:

Is it ok to ignore this message? (Can it reasonable be suppressed somehow?)

Ignore it. The error message will go away in 9.3. Suppressing it requires modifying samba source.

This error is back in the latest system update that includes the samba upgrade. Adding the additional parameters suggested by dlavigne in this post does not fix the problem either.

I'd guess that the original fix for Bug #6071 has been undone in the samba update.

Edit: Ah, noticed that it's been noted in the bug report already.

No change for me. Glad we have to boot rollback function in 9.3

Just upgraded from 9.3-STABLE 1837 to 0159 and still getting "acl check permissions option is deprecated" error.

Updateding to FreeNAS-9.3-STABLE-201502050159 from STABLE-201502040431 fixed it for me.

Edit: Only just updated so I'll keep an eye on it to see if the warnings re-appear.

Edit2: My initial test worked fine but now I'm getting the acl warning again.

Looks like update STABLE-201502060108 has solved it for me.
