On my main NAS I have 2FA enabled for the root account. I've had it enabled since I built the NAS and never had a single issue. About a week ago I updated to TrueNAS-12.0-U5.1m no problems. I've logged in probably 10 times since then with no problems
Today I go to log in to check something, and I get login failure. I tried a different browser, clearing cache, everything I could think and no dice. In the end I had to get to the console via IMPI and reset the root password which also disables 2FA
I checked the time, and its dead on, to the second correct.
Any ideas? I really, really don't want that to happen again
