10GBit Ethernet recommendation - including 2.5 GBit and WakeOnLAN

atm I am running an Intel X540-T2 setup.

This lacks:

1)
2.5 GBit speed

2)
WakeOnLAN

Intel X550 - product is not WoL capable, the Chipset is as per my checking

Not a specific answer but should narrow down your search - intel seems out of the question as their 10g nics don't support WoL.

Wake-on-LAN isn't supported on Intel® Ethernet 10-gigabit adapters.

**This is odd because I swear I've seen documentation that Intel X710-T2L does support it
