I have installed TrueNas on a Dell Server, I have created an NFS pool, but I cannot see how to set a password for it.
I can see the icon in my home directory under network, but when I try to open this icon it requests a password.

NFSv3 and below doesn't use any password. It just matches your local uid/gid to the remote uid/gid.

Thank you for the reply, the version of NFS I've got is NFSv4.
That's the version that was loaded with the TrueNAS I have downloaded and installed.

What icon? Which OS? Which desktop environment?

I have created an NFS pool
And NFS share, in which you specified the absolute path, such as /mnt/mypool/mydata/stuff?

Not even NFSv4 uses password authentication (without the use of something like Kerberos). It's as @Whattteva described. It just uses the client's UID/GID to determine access and permissions.
