Hello,
I have found several threads here on the forum confirming that this is a expected behavior of a TrueNAS SMB share.
But for my use case it complicates things as seen in the image, one would believe there is at least 40,2 TB left.
The shares come from the same dataset/vdev.
Here are some threads that confirms that this is expected:

In my case I'm going to unmount Media and only keep Private. But to know the true size of what's left I must go into the TrueNAS web interface, which I don't want my users to have to do.
How can I modify this behavior with a patch or setting to make the total reported size (and used) be the size of the actual full vdev/dataset?

SMB showing space available / total wrong
Hi all. I'm on TrueNAS-12.0-U4 (core) and am having an issue with share sizes reported to Windows clients; I have a pool of 2x 4TB mirror vdevs, so 8TB total size. Roughly half is used, with ~3,2TB available as reported by zfs: However, on windows clients, I get this reported: Is there...

SMB Size Reporting Question
How does TrueNAS Scale report pool or dataset sizes over SMB? When I map my SMB shares on my Windows PC the shares do not report the total storage capacity of the pool correctly. My main data pool (Atlas) is made up of 5x4TB WD RED CMR drives in a RAIDz2 which is about 10.63TB of usable space...

Show pool space as max for smb shares?
I got a 19tib usable pool space (3vdevs > 2 way mirror). I created mutiple datasets for the pool and shared those datasets as smb shares in freenas. When I mount a share as a network drive in windows, I get 6,65tb shown as max space. Which is obviously wrong. Can I change that behaviour some how?
