I have two pools both using guest access.

I was trying to backup to a network drive using Acronis and it kept failing a post on the acronis forum said the failure could be because i am using windows 10 and a guest access. I then tried to create a dataset so i could use a password on my network drive.

Here is what i did:

Samba - 2.jpg
Samba - 3.jpg
Samba - 4.jpg

but i got this error:

Samba - 5.jpg

Please help. but don't ask me to view a video or a read the manual, i have huntingtons disease and find it difficult.
Ideally someone can take me through the problem step by step.

thank you

This a Windows limitation. For some reason (don't ask me why) windows does not allow to connect to different shares on the same server with different credentials.

So it is not possible to access \\FreeNAS\share1 as user1 and \\FreeNAS\share2 as user2.

You have to trick Window into thinking to connect to two different servers. Using the FreeNAS servers IP address instead of the hostname should do the trick for the second connection.
