Mutiny After 11.2 Upgrade

Very weird ( probably ) train problem on my recent 11.2 upgrade. Wanted to get it out for discussion. Will update once I try a fix.

* Built a virgin 11.2-U1 thumb drive and booted it.
* Restored an 11.1-U5 confguration from September.
* Seemed to run fine. Took a new backup, everything looking good.
* Looked at updates on the new GUI. Noticed that I didn't see a train drop-down selection. Kicked off the updates.
* This morning... I'm getting a 11.1-U6.2 GUI that's all jacked up and angry. Seems like an unexpected/unsupported downgrade happened.

I suspect that the older config has a train preference embedded in it from 11.1-U5. Later tonight, I'm going to rebuild an 11.2-U1 image, restore the same backup, but then switch to the old-style GUI and see if I can ask for the 11.2 Train that way.

You should be able to restart the server and select your 11.2-U1 boot environment.

Great suggestion, thank you. I had 'Initial-Install' as an option at the boot menu and tried that. Still got the jacked-up 11.1 environment though.

I'll try to find more time over the new year to see what's going on.

I ended up loading an older ( 11.1-U3 ) config and that was accepted and running much better. Something about the 11.1-U5 one was just not making 11.2 happy.

Moving on.
