I will do my best to explain, please forgive me for sounding dumb.

I have an old Dell tower, Core2 Quad, 8GB of RAM, 3 - Seagate 4TB drives (RAID Zpool) and a 16GB boot usb. Running FreeNAS 9.3.1 stable

I set this up 5 years ago and just left it running as my media server. Yesterday I shut it down to move it and now all I am getting at boot is

minimal BASH-like line editing is supported. For the first word, TAB lists possible command completions. Anywhere else TAB lists possible device or file completions.

I have some basic knowledge but only enough to follow directions.

It should not have been neglected all this time. Likely it is a failed boot device but it could be anything. It is very, very old hardware.
Best bet, make a new boot device and import your pool using that device. Then reconfigure from there.

Thanks for the quick response. I figured that was going to be the case. I'll start working on it soon. I know I need to upgrade soon too. Maybe Santa will be nice to me this year.
