So my build:
CPU: Intel - Xeon E3-1230 V6 3.5GHz Quad-Core Processor
Motherboard: Supermicro - MBD-X11SSM-F Micro ATX LGA1151 Motherboard
Memory: Samsung - 16GB (1 x 16GB) DDR4-2133 Memory
Storage: Western Digital - Red 3TB 3.5" 5400RPM Internal Hard Drive

Power Supply: SeaSonic - PRIME Titanium 650W 80+ Titanium Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply

is working nicely on FreeNAS so I decided to use an old Belkin F6C1500-TW-RK UPS I have. Got some new batteries for it tested it on my game pc everything fine.
So I wire it up to the server set it up everything smooth as silk freenas sees it so all good right?

Well this is the weird thing: as soon as the ups loses power the server does too. No error no overload warning nothing.
The server uses as peak maybe 150w nothing more.

I am at a loss any tips?

Ok never mind the issue is that the SeaSonic psu can't handle stepped sine wave.

It is hard to google it but a tip from a electrician friend directed me in the correct search.
If the mod so wishes this can be closed / Or edit the topic to solved.

We like it when posters edit the topic themselves. There is a drop-down "Solved" for this. But in this case, I will set it.
