I have 2 USB 3.0 Sandisk 32GB setup in a mirror.

My automatic scrub interval is set to 5 but nothing happened after 5 days. I clicked on the scrub boot button so that is why the scrub status says in progress.
1) should my scrub interval be every 5 days with this setup?
2) What is the difference between #1 and #3? #2 is blank settings. The manual only shows 1 and 2. Is #3 my mirror (2nd USB?) indicating I booted from the 2nd USB?

You can scrub far less than every 5 days. Mine is set for 35 days. Scrub your changing volumes more often, say every 14 days or every 28.

#3 is the current boot environment. #1 and 2 are the initial boot environments before you did the update to U2. You could delete both 1 and 2 and be completely fine. You are booting from whatever USB is set to boot first in the system bios. What ZFS is doing is mirroring one USB to the other, so they are bit for bit exactly the same. You could pull one out and the system can boot from the other but your boot volume will show degraded until you put the other one back in.
