Import Volume windows too small: can't select volume to import

I just did some major reconfiguration of my drive connections and wanted to make sure all drives were being "seen" before doing a regular reboot. Now that they all show up in View Disks, I wanted to import each volume separately, but the drop-down volume selection item is only one or two characters wide and I cannot choose the volume to import.

It's the same with:

1. IceWeasel (Firefox ESR; can't find a numerical version number) and

2. Chromium Version 51.0.2704.79

Both the above running on Debian 8.5 (64-bit)

and

3. Chromium Version 52.0.2743.116 running on Windows 10 Anniversary Update
