Thanks for spending the time writing your NOOB guide, which I have just read page by page, and will do again, just because..
http://forums.freenas.org/threads/slideshow-explaining-vdev-zpool-zil-and-l2arc-for-noobs.7775/

One way I learn new things, is to intentionally break things, and learn why/how/what happened.. I have an old desktop with non ECC RAM in, and a data pool of crap that I dont need.. (This is for testing) I dont have a VM environment.
My intention is to build a "Server Class" server to keep my stuff in.. And this is just for home. Streaming. Data etc. You guide will help me to achieve this properly.

Anyway, I do wish I found that guide sooner, as I would have spent less time researching.. I think you should consider getting the developers to make it compulsory reading when downloading the installation files.
Anyways, just saying thanks for taking the time!!
Doug

It is not. That would be a 20-40 page paper on just how to handle those. Not something that a presentation would be good for. :P

+1 on the thank you.

Its not being said often enough, the amount of ppl you helped with the guide must be huge.
It might have also reduced the amount of "silly" questions you keep on getting asked over & over :)

If it has, Cyberjock, and the rest of us, haven't noticed.

We've got a monkey that can talk, and people complain about its accent. There is no pleasing some people :)

His French is about as good as Arnold's.
Yeah, but if we perfects speaking English with a combination British/French accent, he'll have women swooning all over. Assuming that isn't his real picture.

Two things.

First of all, that's closer to his picture than not.

Second of all, I hesitate to call the Joual, marble-mouthed, goulash that he and his wife speaks, "French". https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Df_BjOaAp68 :)

The name's m0nkey_, James m0nkey_.

I do still get the "I love your accent" or "Are you from England?" from time to time here. However, whenever I cross the border to the south, I usually get "Are you from Australia? I love Australia." (I'm not Australian).

First of all, that's closer to his picture than not.
Let's face it, you're in love. Don't deny it @DrKK.
