Was Zerotier dropped in TrueNAS? From what I can find in searches it was included in late releases of FreeNAS but on a fresh install of 12.0-RC1 I can't find the zerotier-cli command.

That's very disappointing. I have a Zerotier backup network with hosts in the cloud and other remote sites, ZT makes it very simple to connect them together.
I'm evaluating TrueNAS against Synology and although they don't have a ZT client built in either, it is available as a package. Is it possible to add to TrueNAS in the same way?

Why Zerotier, OpenVPN server and client is integrated in Truenas so i don't see any advantage to user zerotier.
Just one time OpenVPN setup and you are ready to go in Truenas. I also have my Synology and truenas connected via openvpn within 5 minutes setup.

I would like to say that, I too would like to see zerotier-cli included in the TrueNAS Repo. I wouldn't wish (yet) for this to be integrated into the webUI, however.. roadmap maybe? Adding (or keeping? I have not done independent research on this) zerotier-cli would be value-add for this community user. Hopefully this way it will survive updates and reboots??

oh darn

Thanks to the team.
