Hi all,
I've been putting together my FreeNAS build and although I have had some issues I have been able to figure out most of it on my own or by reading the forums.
I am running an X10SL7 with 16GB RAM (CT2KIT102472BD160B) and an i3.
I get some beeping at start up which I figured was some sort of error but I can't find any information about it at all (it isn't in the manual).
I also have the BIOS set to halt if there is an error but it boots up fine, which leads me to believe the beeping is normal but I'm not sure.
The beeps occur during the memory check stage:
Here is a link to the audio of the beeping:

So it sounds to me like 2 short beeps followed by 1 long.
The 2 sticks are currently in DIMMA2 and DIMMB2 (blue), but were in DIMMA1 and DIMMB1 (black) and had the same beeps.
So is the beeping normal or have I got a problem?
