Before updating the Transmission plugin I did a snapshot of the Jail. After the update, things screwed up so I rolled back. Now the WebUI thinks I have the latest plugin version installed so I can't update it until the next version comes out. The same thing is happening with any plugin.

Any ideas how to fix this?

My current hardware is in my sig. I have the latest stable version of FreeNAS installed.

Thanks!

I would stop the jail and then rollback the snapshot. If that does not work then I would backup the transmission database folder and re-install the plugin.

The rollback worked fine. I got what I had. But after that, the current plugin version is wrong and the WebUI "thinks" it has the latest version installed. This is the problem. Maybe a bug, maybe an expected behavior... I don't know.

That is why I recommended to just backup the data directory and re-install the plugin.

Thanks for your recommendation... is not a big deal, but I want to know if there's a work around about the issue. Maybe @Joshua Parker Ruehlig can give us some light here.

I just got hit by this too. Rolled back owncloud because the 8.0.0 upgrade failed (so that I could reattempt the upgrade). Now owncloud reports v7.0.2, but the WebUI still says 8.0.0 (with no option to upgrade). Restarting the plugin/jail/freenas made no difference.

I wonder if it's always been like this or if it's a regression.
