Won't Set IP Automatically On Boot

Well, after all of the conversations about not being upfront about the beta status of 11.2 and the talk of fixing it for the next beta versions we get this deceptive page... 11.2 is for more complete than Corral was but this still fells like that... Pushing an incomplete system on unsuspecting users...

Not only that, it makes it sound like if you want plugins or virtualization, you don't get that in 11.1, you have no choice but to go with 11.2.
I don't like that much.

You are using the wrong interface... use 6 - 10/100/1000 Gigabit Ethernet ports.

I tried those two but they for some reason were showing up as red link lights.

Colors vary from vendor to vendor. As long as its light.

It just started working.... Nobody think bad thoughts... sneeze or otherwise do anything that could break it!!! :D

That deceptive page has been there since -BETA1, and was part of the discussion about the beta status. iX response has been, "Oh, we didn't realize there would be any confusion there, even though it's precisely the same confusion that happened with 11.0 and 11.1."
