I'm planning to use FreeNAS and I'd like to use UNIX permissions for the files on the server.
Is there any possibility to use the shadow copy feature on windows clients with UNIX ACLs?
The documentation of FreeNAS says, you have to use Windows ACLs. Is this a temporary solution and will support for UNIX ACLs be added in a future version of FreeNAS? Or is there any possibility to use shadow copies with Unix ACLs by now?
I'd really prefer using the UNIX ACLs but these shadow copies are imho a very nice feature I'd like to use, too.
