Shadow copy not working?

Shadow copies do not seem to work for me (Freenas 8.2)

I created a test dataset, a periodic snapshot task specifically for this dataset, turned on windows ACLs, edited a file, created a new share, restarted CIFS but no previous versions are popping up.

Also no .zfs directory seems to exist in the cifs share.


PS: Another question: Do I have to create a periodic snapshot task for every dataset or is a recursive one enough?

BETA3 works thanks. Maybee event the 8.2 would have worked but I don't want to go back to test it.

But is it correct that I need a periodic snapshot task for each share and that one recursive one is not enough?

I used 8.3 stable but "previous version" doesn't show up.

I did, periodic snapshot taken every hour and it's available under ZFS snapshots for every individual volume.
