We've just installed FreeNAS-8.0.1-RC1-amd64 (7508).
It seems to all be setup correctly, and Windows + Mac users can create and delete files.
However our problem is we can't seem to change any permissions on folders created.
We can the message "An error occurred while applying security information to: <folder>". The parameter is incorrect.
and then the message "Unable to save permission changes on <folder>". The parameter is incorrect.
I have been doing some searching on here, and I can find nothing related. Searching on Google suggests it is a bug with samba.
Any ideas?
We also had this problem with the latest FreeNAS 7.2
