Brief: cifs not resolved, deadlocks reported on console and windows accounts not inheriting requested permission (changes for no apparent reason as soon as the permission type is changed from Unix to Windows.

would be great if cifs issues got resolved (appears Im not alone in experiencing this/similar cifs issues)

Note that the actual bug report needs to be reported at bugs.freenas.org and the bug number should be listed here. If you use the Support tab to make the bug report, it will automatically include your CIFS config in the debug file of the bug report. Note that you still have to make a login account at bugs.freenas.org before using the Support tab.
