I have recently set up a freenas server and have gotten it all set up to make backups of various computers. I can access everything fine from a windows xp desktop as well as from a wirelessly connected windows xp laptop.
The problems begin when I try to connect to my windows 7 desktop. It is on the same workgroup and attached to the same router. Most of the time it does not see the freenas box, however if I restart the freenas it will be able to see it for a little while but will then tell me it is unable to connect.
Is it possible to use freenas 8 with windows 7?
