Will iohyve VMs run on TrueNAS?

I had a couple of iohyve VMs that were created on 9.3 and actually were still around for the FreeNAS 11.0 series of updates. Will these VMs run within TrueNAS? I believe they will not for some reason since the jails will not start.

And attempting to start an iohyve jail will either freeze my entire FreeNAS installation or it will just cause an unscheduled reboot -- which honestly should never happen.

I had that problem too. I just gave up on it and created a new VM through the GUI. I have no problems with this new VM. You might consider adding your debug to https://jira.ixsystems.com/browse/NAS-107579 as well.
Hey thanks for acknowledging the problem exists with more than just me. I probably should have done what you did in the essence of time, however I wanted to be stubborn and just "prove" I could do i a different way. I took the zvol the iohyve used -- zfs send/receive to a new zvol (in case I messed something up messing with the installation processs), converted from a MBR-->GPT partition table, and changed the bootloader to UEFI systemd-boot from grub2. I then created a new VM via the GUI referencing the newly modified zvol. Seems to work at least at the present time.

I'll file a bug report as well. Thanks for link.
