You may join Active Directory, but there is no option to leave it. Why?

OK, an update: TrueNAS-12.0-U5 -- an option to remove Active Directory link has appeared for a short time, but then vanished again.

Ladies and gentlemen, to you ever test what you release in public?!

Active Directory link is dead again.

An update: TrueNAS-12.0-U5 -- the button "ADVANCED OPTIONS" => "LEAVE DOMAIN" has appeared.

Link to Active Directory is functional until next TrueNAS restart. You have to leave domain and rejoin it with every restart...

Double checked it. TrueNAS restart gives this:

root@Plex[~]# wbinfo -u
could not obtain winbind interface details: WBC_ERR_WINBIND_NOT_AVAILABLE
could not obtain winbind domain name!
Error looking up domain users

root@Plex[~]# wbinfo -g
could not obtain winbind interface details: WBC_ERR_WINBIND_NOT_AVAILABLE
could not obtain winbind domain name!
failed to call wbcListGroups: WBC_ERR_WINBIND_NOT_AVAILABLE
Error looking up domain groups

Holy crap!

1. Restart kills AD link.
2. You have to disable the link because the "LEAVE DOMAIN" buttons disappears.
3. Then enable -- the "LEAVE DOMAIN" buttons appears again.
4. Now you leave domain.
5. You join domain again.
6. Now you must rebuild directory service cache because it does not do it automatically...

Standard Linux world programming: JUST DO IT! Test nothing. RELEASE!!!

Perhaps, autoreplace has been programmed exactly that way: why the hell has it replaced every word "button" to "buttons"?!
