I stand and must have set 3 server set up in a cluster.


What server is best and run it on ??


There must be 12 or 16 3.5 discs in them.

Depends what you are meaning when you talk about clustering... if you intend the storage to be highly available due to being clustered, you may not be able to make that happen with SCALE unless you can consume the storage using glusterFS (not an option for every Hypervisor).
