WebGUI not responding after router switch

Hello there.

if have a problem with the webGUI after is switched to a new router. after that i could no longer access the webGUI. with the old one it worked perfectly and i didnt have to do any settings.
and now the freenas work just fine with DHCP. i can access all shares and files but not the user interface.

i tried internet explorer, firefox and chrome. all i get is an error 102 (net::ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED) server refused connection.

can anybody tell me how i can check if the webGUI works properly?

here some specs from the freenas machine
8.2-RELEASE-p2 installed on USB flash drive
Mainboard is an ASUS AT5NM10T-I with Intel Atom D525 CPU and 4GB RAM

since i am still new to unix systems and i had never to go deep into it because of the webGUI i'd like the answers to be detailed ;)

if u need more infos that i could get through ssh just tell me which commands

Are you connecting to the shares via IP address or by the computer name, and how are you trying to access the web interface (IP address or computer name)?
