WARNING smartd is not running Dell PowerEdge R510 RAID 6 + spare

hi everybody,

I just installed FreeNAS 11.3 U5, but I have a warning telling me that the SMART service has not started. In fact, I cannot create a pool because it does not reveal any disk even if the disk created using the DELL utility (IDRAC6) is present on the disk (there are 8 disks of 2 TB configured in RAID 6 + spare). Anyone can give me a solution?

You need to replace the RAID controller with an appropriate HBA in order to use FreeNAS.
