I'm new here. I wanted to know if this hardware will work well with TrueNAS:
CPU - Intel Pentium G5420 3.8Ghz 4MB Cache s1151v2
Motherboard - Asus PRIME B365M-K LGA1151v2

No, we do not recommend gamer motherboards or gamer CPU's.

FreeNAS is a server and works best with server motherboards. Ideally you want functionality such as ECC, and the gamer boards typically come with crappy RealTek ethernets, which don't work that well and make many people unhappy with their poor performance.

Rather than picking some hardware and hoping FreeNAS will work well on it, please look in the Resources for the Hardware Recommendations.
