Seems like the last time I asked this it got deleted? [If so what should I have done to my post differently?] I think this should be simple but I'm not familiar with BSD networking configuration so hoped someone would be able to help.
I am setting up offsite replication, to do that I have have a second freenas box and I have configured my router to provide openvpn connections with cert/pass to clients. The plan is I have the second freenas box offsite connect via openvpn to my router so it is part of the local network, and I can then use zfs replication to keep it up to date. The question is how do I setup the offsite freenas box to use openvpn as a client?
I have searched but seemingly all I find is people talking about openvpn in a jail so they can torrent movies and such which isn't useful for me.
It seems like it should be as simple as copying the .conf file to the USB stick and changing a startup script to connect with it, but I just don't know where to find those files.
