What is the better way to connect ESXi to FreeNAS iSCSI or NFS ?

They both have their ups and downs. Both work fine. See bug #1531 for just-updated discussion of pool performance issues under heavy load (issue is relevant to both iSCSI and NFS, though iSCSI is more sensitive to it).
