Hi everyone,
First post, so bear with me. I've been having an issue starting virtual machines that I had created in the FreeNAS 11.0-RELEASE WebGUI. They are VMs with Ubuntu Server installed (16.04) and they've been running for months already. I've restarted them before for basic maintenance tasks (installing security updates). This said, it had been a while since I've updated FreeNAS, so I decided to update to U2 last night.
When the system rebooted, the VMs had not started (autostart turned on) and refuse to start. When I say start: I press the "Start" button on a VM, a green dialog displays saying that it was started, but the system's status still shows as "STOPPED". I attempted to boot the system into FreeNAS 11.0-RELEASE, but even that didn't change anything.
Did I just royally screw up? New VMs created in U2 start and stop fine, but the ones I created in RELEASE will not start. Nothing on these VMs is vital; I can always recreate them, but I'd prefer not to (been there, done that several times with Corral). If this is my only option, is there an easy way to migrate the existing ZVOLs from the old VMs to the new ones and assign them the same IP Addresses that were previously used?
Thanks for any help you can provide!
