Hello All,
New to FreeNAS so, I need some assistance. I currently have a box with a dual port NIC pcie card installed. Is is running link aggregation just fine and all my devices connect very well. I also am running a Jail with virtualbox installed and Debian on it for use with Snort. My question is this:
How do I assign the virtualbox machine to use the onboard NIC and not the pcie NIC?
I want to use the separate port on the motherboard with mirroring (from my managed switch) so that Snort can monitor my traffic.
Right now both the LAG and the onboard NIC show up under interfaces. But I am not sure how to assign the onboard NIC to the Vbox only. I believe it is running off the LAG connection.
Thank you for any assistance!
