Very little ecc ram left

Dear all,
Would like your thoughts on the following:

From the beginning I have only minimal ecc ram left of the total 16 Gib, an average of 0.5 Gib ram.
If I start the system after an update for example, there is more than 10 gib left.
But after a while it is back to around 0.5 Gib.
Is it necessary to install more ecc ram?
Could this be one of the reasons why it regularly takes a long time to upload files from the TV via wifi plex? Or that it seems that it gets stuck. It's only photos and phone videos.
I also read oppositions to install for example plex jail on a separate ssd.
Is this still worth considering?
Also making a BackUp via wifi of the C drive of the laptop often takes over a 75 / 90 min via EaseUs Todo BackUp.
Or do I just have a too slow inetrnet connection for all this.

See also added pictures of the system and a speed test.

System specifications:

TrueNAS will always consume most all of the available RAM - it's intended to do so, unused RAM is wasted RAM. After a reboot the ZFS Cache will gradually fill, "consuming" free RAM, as the NAS is used.

I can't comment from experience on the speed issue - but I wouldn't have great expectations of a wifi transfer.

One further note on RAM & ZFS cache, (aka ARC).

Once ANY program requests RAM, (either to load a new program, or allocate data), ZFS will give up enough RAM in it's ARC to allow the request to complete successfully. Since it is just RAM, it's easy enough to "free up".
