Using a FQDN and wildcard cert with Open VPN Server built into TrueNas SCALE

Hi. I have a FQDN and have been using a Wildcard Cert provided by Comodo on my previous openvpn server appliance running on a old server that was replaced by the TrueNas server. I see that TrueNas has openvn server built in and would like to use my wildcard cert but I am confounded with getting the RootCA setup as it does not accept the wildcard cert in the many ways I have attempted. Is this even possible to do? The previous openvpn network appliance was very easy to setup and was going to make a virtual machine on the TrueNas scale machine for it but would like to us built in openvpn services if possible.
