Started looking into freenas and its awesome. I own a qnap, and freeNAS is almost just as good. Only one thing that I wish freeNAS could do. If you were to plug a USB thumb or hard drive into your freeNAS server, a option would be available on freeNAS webpage to back up the attached drives data to a specified folder...Default "USB" folder lets say. Is this possible to do? I can't find any info on it. Or maybe a auto import... once the usb drive is connected its start to backup the contents to a default folder.

On my qnap i can plug a portable hdd or thumb drive into it and press a button on the device it self to start backing the attached drive. I would sacrafice that button for just a button on the webpage of freeNAS.
