Hello,
I'm new to FreeNAS so please excuse me as I try to understand the many complicated parts of ZFS as I try to explain my concern. I also want to apologize if I'm repeating a similar question. I did a bunch of reading in the forums looking for the closest question to mine but didn't get much luck/understanding a lot of it.

My system is running on 3 x 3tb WD Reds in a raidz1 config. I want to know if the amount of usable space I should get from that configuration is about 5.4ishTB and why none of the commands I run reflect that/why I don't see or understand the math. As well as why the datasets: Media, Archive and WorkFiles don't add up to the "USED" of /volume1/volume1/ ?

Here is what the GUI Says: Screen Shot 2017-03-28 at 1.02.55 AM.jpg

Hi Mr_N,

I have used that calculator to determine the space I should have and that hasn't helped me understand my numbers. Screen Shot 2017-03-28 at 10.37.08 AM.jpg

But I don't understand how or why my system is reporting 4.4TiB used in /volume1/
I don't know where that data is.
I'm further confused because zpool list even says I have 1.5TiB of freespace which I should have more.
