After a update to 11.2-U7 I'm no longer getting mail about UPS events.
I am still receiving system e-mails (daily log) and disk reports.
While I've gone to the shell and had a quick look at the configuration files I'm not really sure what to look for.

Help on trouble shooting woudl be appreciated!
Thanks

Check the Services UI panel and confirm the UPS service is enabled. Check that its configuration settings look reasonable.

Yes the service is enabled and upsc shows communication. The settings are reasonable.

Some things to try:
  1. If you disconnect the UPS from the mains briefly, do you see console messages relating to the event? Do you receive an email alert?
  2. From the Services panel, try switching the UPS service off and then back on and repeat #1.
  3. Check the UPS configuration screen: MonitorUser=upsmon, MonitorPassword=fixmepass, SendEmailoStatusUpdates is checked, Email field has a valid email address.

Thanks. In response to the issues:

(1) Nothing appears in the terminal window. However, when I SSH in and was navigating to the logs I got a message that it was online (onpower?). Sorry I didn't note it.
(2) After this I have been getting email events (however I've tried this step before and nothing happened)
(3) user (as above) password (set) send mail (checked) and send mail (correct address - and working on the machine)

It works but is unstable. These errors show in the terminal from time to time:
Code:
Freenas upsmon(3433): upsmon parent: read
Freenas upsd(99175): mainloop: Interrupted system call
Freenas upsmon(99200): upsmon parent: read

Do I need a tweak to the .conf file?

Well it is working again after reloading the settings. Whether there is still a settings error I'm not sure.
