UPS change...

So after years of dedicated service my PW 9120 UPS stopped working and I had to replace it with an Eaton PW 9130.

Anyone know which driver to use with USB connection and what the default user/pass is for master?

I had it communicating with the 9120 and all was well, now not so much :)

This device is known to work with driver bcmxcp.

yeah i tried it with the 'Eaton ups 5 Powerware 9130 (bcmxcp or usbhid-ups)" driver but it just failed with driver not connected error, and using the same driver as before the powerware 9120 one it just gave connection refused...

I'm also curious about the Eaton 9130 2000VA UPS, as I'm considering purchasing one, but would like to be sure it will work, without having to tinker too much.

This is for an HP MicroServer running FreeNAS-9.10.2.

Referring to 'Powerware' drivers working with Eaton, referencing other drivers not listed on the Eaton list. Perhaps one of those would work.

It is strange that the 9130 is listed as 100% compatible on the Eaton manufacturer list, yet doesn't work for you (Mr_N).

yeah thanks the problem i had was remembering the user/pass after i removed for some reason when putting in new settings :)

upsmon/master
