Upgraded FREENAS and now its broken!!!!!!!!

I was running on freeNAS 9.2.0.
I saved its config, and uploaded the config to a FreeNAS 11.1.
Boots fine, all my shares are there but Active Directory permissions on the shares is not working!!!! Nobody can get to their files.
Everyone is hitting the NAS as guest.
Any ideas?

I was running on freeNAS 9.2.0.

That's 4 years worth of changes in one update while configuration updates are incremental.

I'd recommend reinstalling 9.2.0 and restoring your config. Then update to 9.3 and verify the config still works. Then update to 9.10 and verify the config still works. Then update to 11.1.

Alternately, recreate your config on the 11.1 system.

wild guess says, massively different versions of samba, you probably need to reestablish the active directory domain membership.
