Upgrade with new Data Drive

I currently have a 0.7.1 system that is giving me HD errors.
It's installed on a USB Drive

I'd like to upgrade it to the newest 8 release with a new data drive
using ZFS.

My old data drive is formatted UFS.
Will I be able to mount both drives and copy the data to the new drive (600GB+/-)

Well... Never Mind.
I was getting SUPER SLOW data transfer from my windows systems.
I have Gigabit LAN and with a windows to windows share I was getting 90-100 MB/Second
With FreeNAS 20-30 MB/Second. Argh!!!!!
Tried numerous tweaks to the SMB.CONF to no avail.
So I installed ClearOS 5.2 Problem Solved with no tweaking.
Granted FreeNAS is way easier to set up and use. But it's all about speed for a File Server.
