Upgrade plugin "Owncloud" from v7 to v8

I am still fairly new to FreeNAS, i mainly use it for the Owncloud Plugin. there seems to be an update for Owncloud, (currently running V7) upgrade is for V8. Is there an easy way to upgrade with out losing any configurations or data?

I have the option to upgrade the "jail" currently I am running Owncloud 7.0.# there is an available 8. version of owncloud. My question is: Can I simply upgrade by clicking on the button, or is it more entailed?

As we use Owncloud company wide, i need to be 100% sure that it will not kill the system.

May I suggest the following, sir:

You take a manual snapshot of your owncloud jail in the storage->snapshots section of the GUI. Having done so, if anything you do in the jail does south, you can snap back to where it is. *THEN*, proceed with the click button upgrade. Then, with the grace of God, you should find your upgrade went fine. If not, you can "revert" your snapshot, and everyone is happy.

Thank you DrKK. I will replicate on a non working machine before proceeding on the production one.
