Updated FreeNAS 9.10 to 11 - VBox VM not starting

I updated FreeNAS-9.10.2-U5 to 11.0-Release and now my VirtualBox VM's exit with error '1'.

Thankfully i could roll back. But how can i fix this? Or do i have to migrate them from a VirtualBox Jail Vm to the new 'VM' function? Is there a way to import the old VM's?

Wait, you had Virtualbox running on 9.10.2-U5?

Yes, i still have it running. VirtualBox 5.1.6

Well if you still had it running it was via a hack since virtualbox was deprecated so you'll likely have to figure out a new hack to get it going again. If you can get it going again.......

There's very little reason to put any effort into virtualbox, since bhyve is officially supported now.

yes. That's partially why i gave up searching fora solution. Unfortunately my FreeNAS system has a CPU that does not support bhyve:

Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Quad CPU Q6700 @ 2.66GHz

and doesn't support the required Extended Page Tables (EPT). I had to move my two VM's to my Desktop and run them from there for now.

I am looking to upgrade motherboard and CPU soon. I am sure there is already another thread on how to exchange those major hardware components without having to reinstall all... ;)
