I just upgraded my mini to 9.10.2. I am now unable to complete the boot process. I just get to the main console then receive never ending messages such as: socket error no buffers available, tsockfd_create no suitable network config, along with other service specific errors.

The web GUI does not load nor can I access the console. Please Help

My system is;

Freenas Mini XL
32GB RAM
48 TB Storage
10 GB Ethernet
1 GB Ethernet

Does the problem go away if you boot into an old environment?

I tried the previous environment 9.10.1 (which obviously worked prior to the upgrade) and it too did not work. However the "initial install" worked. Instead of using this as a learning experience, I took the obvious and simpler route - rebuild the NAS and restore the data from a mirror.

Interesting: it took 12 hours to restore 7.3TB of data using rsync. I actually expected better performance... :(

Thanks for your assistance!

Rsync is super slow and CPU is probably the bottleneck.

Why on earth did you wipe the data pool in the first place?

This is one of the questions that you want to un-ask once you ask it. :)
