Update Error: base-os

It's some releases that, when I try to update, I get a small window telling me:

Update
Error: base-os

Sometimes I just have to try again, sometimes I have to reboot and try again. Other times it's a repeated trying until working.

Any idea?

I've just had this exact message trying to update from 11.3-U5 to 12.0-U2.1.

I'm a little scared to just reboot if it's actually in the middle of an update.

Anyone know which log file might show me if it's actually doing anything?

So I think the cause was that my firewall was blocking my freenas from reaching some of the iX servers.

The UI was really confusing though, because it said an upgrade was in progress, but I don't think it was. I opened the firewall and rebooted, then tried the upgrade again and everything went perfectly, at least according to my tests so far.
